Kate Armitage

Host & GREENFLEET Ambassador 
Kate specialises in Electric Vehicles, Recharging Infrastructure and Energy Retailing and was the first recipient of the GREENFLEET EV Champion Award in 2014. She has been a strong advocate of the electrification of transport since 2010, heading up the EV Team at EDF Energy, and subsequently as Projects Director at Route Monkey.  Kate is an Associate for Delta-ee, providing insight and consultancy support for their Electric Vehicles & Electricity Service. 

Dr Darren Handley

Head of Infrastructure Grants and Delivery, OLEV, Department for Transport
Dr Darren Handley has been with the UK Department for Transport for nine years. He is currently heading up the infrastructure grants team in OLEV. Within the department he began working in transport security. Then, at the start of 2016 he changed role to help the Department push forward its agenda on cyber security in the field of connected and automated vehicles. 

Joanne Kenny

Commercial Manager, Crown Commercial Service
Jo Kenny has worked in the public sector for over 30 years with over 20 years’ experience in procurement and supplier management. She joined CCS in October 2017 after spending 30 years in the Department for Work and Pensions, where she delivered high profile projects and managed suppliers delivering key Governmental programmes.

Nathan Wyatt

Senior Policy Advisor, National Infrastructure Commission
Nathan Wyatt is a Senior Policy Advisor at the National Infrastructure Commission looking at the long-term evolution of the energy sector. He has previously worked at the Department for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy, the Committee on Climate Change and HM Revenue and Customs.

Russell Fowler

Senior Project Manager, National Grid
Russell is the Senior Project Manager looking at National Grid’s role in transport decarbonisation – from rapid charging of EVs to synthetic fuels for aviation. Prior to this he led the analysis for RIIO-2, National Grid ESO’s first price control after legal separation, helping the ESO to operate the system, carbon free by 2025. 

Dr Ben Lane

Joint Director, Next Green Car & Zap-Map co-founder
Dr Ben Lane is a leading UK automotive expert with 20 years of experience in ultra-low emission and electric vehicle technologies. Ben co-founded Next Green Car in 2007, a leading UK consumer website, followed in 2014 by Zap-Map, the most comprehensive EV charge point mapping service in the UK.

Adrian del Maestro

Director of Research and Head of Global Thought Leadership in Energy at PwC Strategy&
Adrian is Director of Research and Head of Global Thought Leadership in Energy at Strategy&, PwC’s strategy consulting business. Along with leading the firm’s in-house research capabilities, he has written a number of publications ranging from energy transition and electric vehicles to the application of digital technologies in the oil and gas sector.

Jeremy Yapp

Head of Flexible Energy Systems, BEAMA
Jeremy is Head of Flexible Energy Systems at BEAMA, the UK trade association for manufacturers and providers of energy infrastructure technologies and systems, representing more than 200 companies.

Gary McRae

Head of Electric Mobility, Urban Foresight
Gary is Head of Electric Mobility at Urban Foresight and is an experienced senior local authority manager who led the Corporate Fleet Team within Dundee City Council. Gary’s work saw Dundee achieve the position of having the UK’s largest local authority fleet of electric vehicles, delivering some of the most innovative and market leading electric vehicle charging solutions.

Callum White

With 4.5 years of experience in developing electric vehicle projects across the UK, Callum is a Consultant at Urban Foresight specialising in low carbon mobility projects.

Shayne Rees

Head of Sales & Marketing, ubitricity
Shayne Rees has worked in sales and marketing roles focused mainly on business customers in the energy sector for the last 20 years.  Much of his career has involved promoting low-carbon solutions to energy and business challenges, especially by helping EDF’s customers better work with changing regulations, policies and technologies to achieve their carbon reduction goals. 

Andy Daga

President and CEO, Momentum Dynamics
Prior to founding Momentum Dynamics, Andy was a leading consultant to the aerospace industry and contributed to the design of the International Space Station solar power array system, the Mars Pathfinder programme, and future mission planning studies with NASA and the US Department of Defense.
