Policy and Operations Director, Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership
Jonathan is an environmental economist with more than 20 years’ experience of working in the automotive and fuel industries for companies including the Energy Saving Trust, the Motor Industry Research Association and Total Oil. His knowledge of the automotive industry enables Jonathan to develop policy and design and implement programmes to promote markets for environmental vehicles, technologies and fuels.
Currently, Jonathan is responsible for formulating the policy objectives of the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership, in conjunction with government departments and members. In addition, Jonathan is responsible for the operations side of the Partnership and co-ordinates the LowCVP’s Innovation and Fuels working groups.
In 2003 he was awarded the GreenFleet Award for Personal Achievement for helping kick-start the market for clean fuelled vehicles in the UK.
